Structure Card

Structure Card

These cards give you enough information about the structure before you load them.

You will be able to tell different properties of the structure from the card

Here are some examples:

Source Card

The Header is highlighted and the letter  appears on the left

Mode-of-some-Source Card. It is a Favorite. It is Symmetrical

The card is not highlighted and you see a number  2  instead of the  S  indicating the structure is mode 2 of some source

In this card there’s also a  Star  indicating you’ve marked it as one of your favorites

Also, this structure presents  Symmetry over transposition  since it shows the   on the lower left corner

Note:  Notice how the intervallic formula for this card is showing chord-tones vs. tensions instead of the half-whole formula. The reason for it is because the  button was enabled in the  Circle Buttons Panel  when we took the picture. In this case all the structures in the collection will show the intervallic structure as chord-tones vs. tensions

Unnamed-Structure Card

Tessitura includes  ALL  possible music structures and many of them have not been named or do not have a  standard  name (eventually we will name them all in future versions of Tessitura)

Note:  You can add you own names to the structures, or have multiple names and set one of the names as the default. You can do this in the  Info Panel
