Melodic Patterns Panel

The  Patterns Panel  is where you can load or create patterns which Tessitura applies to the current structure.

Note:  Before learning about this panel you should understand the concepts used on Tessitura in regards to Melodic Patterns

Here’s a view of the patterns panel view in the center. The collections of step-skip patterns, approaches and rhythms will be shown on the right panel

The Patterns Panel combines three elements: a  Step-Skip Pattern  , an  Approach-Note Group  and a  Rhythmic Pattern  to create what we call a  Full Pattern  and then applies it to the current structure (the one loaded on the left panel in the main circle).

You may  load  any of the elements by  dragging & dropping  from the element’s collection (on the right) to the Patterns Panel (on the center).

Once the three elements have been selected you can tweak the behavior using the  Top Menu  on the Patterns Panel
